WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?  Worthy stakeholders we serve in various parts of the world benefit from our research, strategy and design. It’s a valuable gift that is be helpful to their cause, and for some, truly life-changing! Giving of ourselves without the expectation of reward is soul-satisfying and spiritually uplifting!

Being a Project Resound team member may also have other positive effects—as we learn and apply new skills and methods, garner a unique portfolio piece, and gain lifelong friends. The setting also provides an opportunity to reflect on your career and contemplate the future.

WHERE DO EVENTS TAKE PLACE? In addition to those we have conducted in Colombia, Brazil and elsewhere, we are actively pursuing exciting social design opportunities in the US and abroad. If you have a recommendation, please let us know.

WHAT WILL I BRING TO THE TEAM? Each attendee is assigned a role and responsibilities in line with their skills and how they want to grow.

We are looking for professionals and students with skills in business strategy, marketing, project management, writing, sound design, graphic design, advertising, service design, photography, illustration, sequential art, film & TV, motion media, interactive design, UX, industrial design, fashion design, interior design, architecture, and the fine arts.

Although specific roles are assigned, team members support one another in every they they can.

Project Resound Team Leads are professionals in cross-cultural social design; this means participants are exposed to field methods for cultural immersion, team building, contextual research, analysis, systems and design thinking, rapid ideation, and prototyping as they create unique solutions to real-world problems.

Dinner and gratuity expenses are not included in the project costs and are paid from a common fund called “The Kitty.” You contribute to the common fund as necessary and one participant offers to manage the fund. If the Kitty starts to get low participants are asked to make additional contributions.

The amount of your contribution to the Kitty will depend on the country in which your project is based. For example, in South America $20–30 per person per day for dinner and house wine or beer is common. In the US it’s $30–40. In Greece it costs 40–45 Euros per person per day.

People who do not drink alcohol pay 20% less to the Kitty. At the end of the event any remaining balance is refunded.
